FRIDAY MUSIC: Crispy Watkins

Crispy Watkins is a songster, chaplain, and tender of ancestral fires dedicated to music as somatic soul care.  Crispy was raised in the hills of East Tennessee, formed by fiddle tunes, Delta Blues, and Knoxville's scruffy Americana. Earth honoring and heart opening, Crispy’s music brings to life the understanding articulated by Wendell Berry: “I believe that the community - in the fullest sense: a place and all its creatures - is the smallest unit of health and that to speak of the health of an isolated individual is a contradiction in terms.”

The building of beloved community, the practice of reciprocity, and the innate desire to create beauty motivates Crispy to share what they dub “Appalachian spirit-folk with an ecological devotion and a mystic heart.” You can find Crispy weaving folk tales in Fort Collins, CO, since 2014.

Hosted at Purpose Brewing and Cellars in our private side room.

Choose either a mini-facial or massage, or book both back to back! All appointments will be held in a private enclosed room divided between the esthetician and masseuse and will last 25 minutes apiece.

The Mini-facials will be hosted by Chelsea, who will cleanse, massage, and moisturize your face as well as consult on any next steps for your skin care.

The Massage will be hosted by Jessica. For this please wear a comfortable shirt and do not anticipate undressing.
After your session you will be entitled to a free Belgian Blonde (Huisbier) after, our House Beer.

Please note that while the room is private, you will hear the general hum of the tap room.

Join us for a beginners 2-hour training and tasting session on identifying common flaws, aka off-flavors, in beer. Utilizing Siebel's Basic Sensory kit containing 6 common off-flavors, we will guide you through smelling and tasting each treated beer to effectively identify aroma and flavor.
